Herds of cattle in search of food often invade farms, eating up the tools of farmers and drawing resistance and reprisals.
Mr. Adams urged South-West governments to adopt the Rwanda model by engaging expertise in their agricultural sectors.
“Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello begged us on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria, we agreed to call off the nationwide strike today,” Mr. Tahir said.
The agreement was reached in a meeting with Kogi governor Yahaya Bello on Wednesday in Abuja.

The bill would help boost the economy given the broad industrial base.

Governor Douye Diri would sign the bill into law, latest by Friday this week, after its expeditious passage on Wednesday.
