It was unclear whether Mr Ododo, who had arrived at the ex-governor’s residence with his convoy around 2:30 p.m., went to the former governor or left him behind.

Former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje’s arraignment was stalled on Wednesday because the Kano government was unable to serve him with court papers.
“We call on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to call the EFCC to order in the interest of legal sanity,” said the ex-governor.
Mr Ododo arrived at the Abuja residence of Mr Bello, located at Benghazi Street, Wuse Zone 4, at about 2:45 pm.
Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission have surrounded the Abuja residence of former Governor Yahaya Bello.
The court adjourned the case until May 2, for hearing of the preliminary objection.
The defendant lawyer urged the court to grant his application for bail as moved.
The defendant is arraigned by the EFCC.
The police spokesperson said the suspect would be arraigned upon conclusion of investigation.
